Introduction

I gather and use certain information about individuals in order to provide products and services and to enable certain functions on this website.

I also collect information to better understand how visitors use this website and to present timely, relevant information to them.

What data I gather

I may collect the following information:

  • Contact information including email address
  • Your enquiry/message
  • Demographic information, such as postcode

  • Other information relevant to client enquiries
  • Files uploaded to assist with your update enquiry
  • Other information pertaining to special offers and surveys

  • IP address (this also helps us block repeated spam)
 

If someone contacts SDB Digital either through our contact form, phone enquiry or direct email and becomes a client, partner, mutually beneficial contact or service provider of SDB Digital, I will keep their contact information and any email correspondence on our systems. 

If such a time arises where the client leaves SDB Digital, the partnership breaks down or the service provider is no longer required, I will keep any contact details, email correspondence for up to 12 months at which point I will delete it unless otherwise requested.

Any information regarding projects/new websites may be kept in emails, basecamp, our CRM or Google Drive. 

No information will be stored on any hard drive of any PC/Mac once the project has been completed.

Anyone at any time can request to know what data I hold on them. 

There is a form on our website for this purpose. There are the following options available:

1. Could you email me any data you have stored related to my contact information

2. Remove my name, contact information and submission information from your database

With these requests, I will respond with the information and/or remove data if requested.

Data will be removed in the form of email correspondence and from our CRM database.

If you have a form on your website, SDB Digital have access to this database, but will under no circumstance use any of this data for any purpose. 

Google Analytics Data

Google Analytics stores information about:

  • the pages you visit on the website
  • how long you spend on each website page
  • what you click on while you’re visiting the site

I don’t collect or store your personal information (for example your name or address) unless you have actively passed it on to us, so this information can’t be used to identify who you are.

How I use this data

I use this data to contact you about your enquiry.

Google reCAPTCHA

ReCAPTCHA collects personal information from users to make this determination of whether they are human and not a bot to prevent SPAM. The reCAPTCHA algorithm checks to see if there is a Google cookie placed on the computer being used. An additional reCAPTCHA-specific cookie will then be added to the user’s browser allowing a complete snapshot of the user’s browser window at that moment in time.

Information gathered includes:

  • All cookies placed by Google over the last 6 months
